Why to use?
You're looking for effects on your sounds....you start patching in fx....try adjusting....patch in another fx....hmmmpff...frustrating ey....dNa-DeON consists of no less than sixteen stompboxes for all kinds of effects, and were created with absolute easy of use in mind.....just like guitar pedal stompboxes.....which can be used ofcourse also on other instruments ;-) Easily selected from a dropdown menu, fast switching, dynamic dsp loading.
You can easily create beautifull patches along with the SC MultiFX module, which can save these patches as presets ;-) And you should really try this as an insert in the dNa-Optimus Prime. Together they can create an endless array of beautiful, creative and great sounding effects, huge ambient soundscapes, uplifting rythmic filterFX, you name it....get creative, get inspired....maybe more important....stay inspired!
Personal note....The working title btw for this was dNa-PedalFX....but during the development of this device there was much going on in my personal life and in the end my first child, my son Deon was born. I decided to name this device after him. Deon, that you may grow up to be a fine young man. Love you forever!
Features:
- Easy to use: Select a pedal from it's list, and dial in three knobs* (some have some more, but once you worked with them....)
- DynamicDSP: dynamic distribution of DSP power and functions which are not used are not loaded onto DSP’s for highly efficient DSP usage.
- Remote controllable through MIDI: Control the parameters for example with an external midi-controller.
- Automation of parameters through MIDI: When you custom assign the device parameters to midi-CC signals(just right click on a parameter), the device sends out MIDI signals which you can "record" in you sequencer, thus you can automate the device.
- Saves in screensets
- Compatible with Scope software 5x
- Compatible with all Scope hardware, PCI cards and Xcite
- 96kHz capable
Specifications/Parameters:
Too much parameters which are actually overall so easy to understand. So start fiddling around ;-)
DSP-Usage:
The dNa-DeON will use roughly between 170 ~ 2140 DSP cycles depending on pedal and settings, based on the old 60Mhz SHARC (older CW cards). (Min around 17% of one SHARC max just over two 60Mhz SHARC(@48khz))
